Compassion Place is a local christian charity that aims to provide the emotional and practical support often needed when faced with an unexpected or difficult pregnancy situation. Whether it's an unexpected pregnancy, your role as mom, grief from a past abortion or miscarriage, or navigating the ups and downs of life, we're here for you. We are committed to serving those in our community with compassionate care and support.

We seek to be a safe and confidential place where individuals and families can find information, share their hearts and receive support in a loving, judgement free atmosphere.

Clients will meet with a trained Client Advocate, who is deeply committed to meeting the needs of anyone impacted by an unexpected pregnancy, including friends and family.  There can be very difficult issues surrounding an unexpected pregnancy: you don’t feel ready to be a parent; not sure who you can talk to or what to say; questions about the physical changes you are experiencing etc.  Our desire is to help you explore all the options so that you can make a well informed decision for yourself.

We provide free and confidential pregnancy tests. We know how hard it can be to take a pregnancy test, or to even buy the test at a store, so if you think you might be pregnant and want to know, come see us.

At Compassion Place, we recognize that women have a right to make their own choice about the outcome of their pregnancy and their sexual health. We are here to help women, men and families make well informed choices.

Compassion Place is an affiliate of Pregnancy Care Canada, a national, faith-based, best practice organization with a network of over 80 pregnancy care centres.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance; therefore, all information is kept strictly confidential, except where required by law to report, in cases such as suspected abuse, or to act to prevent harm to self or others.
